Eddy current separators

Eddy current separators for automatic separation of non-ferrous metals from processed scrap.

Eddy current separators (ECS) utilize the eddy current phenomenon to separate non-ferrous metals (such as aluminum, copper, and brass) from shredding and shredding residue. The material is moved through a high-speed drum equipped with neodymium magnets, which induce eddy currents in the conductive metals. As a result of repulsive forces, non-ferrous metals are separated from the remaining fraction. These devices are used in the final stages of recycling lines, significantly increasing the efficiency of valuable metal recovery.
